ADU Refuge

The ADU Refuge was conceived as a calm, efficient sanctuary nestled within the constraints of a compact urban lot. Our client sought a flexible, self-contained space that could serve as a guest house, creative studio, or quiet personal escape. From the earliest design conversations, the goal was clear: maximize comfort, light, and usability within a minimal footprint.

We approached the project with a clean, modern aesthetic - integrating natural materials and a neutral palette to foster a sense of openness and serenity. Every element was thoughtfully considered, from custom-built storage solutions to expansive windows that visually extend the interior into the surrounding garden. The result is a structure that feels far larger than its square footage suggests.
